PROPOSAL This research work was an attempt to examine “the role of commercial Bank in small scale business financingâ€. The major source of data is based on secondary data. Commercial Bank are privately owned banks, they are established for the purpose of making profit for their owners and small scale in one of last link in the chain of distribution examples are hawkers, road side seller and so on. They are owned by individual, it is small business established with small amount of capital. Commercial banks perform the following role to the small scale business by providing loan to them, grant overdraft, finance hire purchase transaction accepting deposits and so on. Finally, the research recommended highly on various contribution of commercial bank on the effective running of this small scale business by providing them with all they needs to carry on business effectively.
