THE IMPACT OF PARTICIPATIVE MANAGEMENT ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE (A CASE STUDY OF ANAMBRA MOTOR MANUFACTURING COMPANY-ANAMMCO) (#9628)

ABSTRACT Management as well as Decision making is the point at which plans, policies and objectives are translated into concrete action.  It is noted that Managers, do consider decision making to be the heart of their job in that they must always choose what is to be done, they influences the ordinary employees in decision making process. This study as usual is broken into five chapters so as to enable the researcher conveniently touch all the necessary aspects of the research topic at hand.   Just as the objective of this research work is to know the impact of participative management on employee performance which involves decision making processes that will impact positively on organizational productivity in an industry or production company like ANAMMCO. Structured questionnaires were administered to 210 respondents which included the management (senior) and intermediate staff of the company. Also data collected were analysed and presented in a tabular form using a simple percentage formular to get the findings.  The results were discussed and conclusions as well as recommendations were made as regards the impact of participative management on employee performance.
