THE EVALUATION MANAGEMENT AUDIT AND ITS EFFECT ON ORGANIZATION’S EFFICIENCY (A CASE STUDY THREE SELECTED COMPANY IN ABA).

ABSTRACT This research study attempts to evaluate management audit and its effects on organization’s efficiency. The aim of the study is to ascertain and to find out whether management audit helps in achieving organizational efficiency. Secondly, it is to know how relevant management audit effects organization performance. Lastly, if management audit enhance to a greater. Extent in the organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Questionnaire were administered to various staff of the companies and some top officials of the selected companies were interviewed The researcher collected data through primary and secondary sources, which were presented in tables and using sample percentage for data analysis. Chi-square (X2) tables and percentages were used in that analysis for the text and expected frequency. The results showed that major problems encounted were weakness and inefficiencies in the companies. Sequel to these findings (i) Manufacturing companies do conduct management audit, (ii) Organizational have computerized information system. Recommendations were made such as, there should be sufficient management interest and involvement in staff development and welfare. Federal law should be prominent in making it mandatory for every organization to have management audit which will be attached to the annual report accounts. Conclusion, the study reveals that unsound management audit affects the effectiveness and efficiency of the management.
