ABSTRACT
This research investigated teacher retention in secondary schools within Minna metropolis of Niger State and recommended strategies
for effective planning in education. The broad objective of this study was to find out how to make effective planning strategies to retain
teachers in the school system, and investigate teacher retention factors in the school system.
