ABSTRACT

Experimental research on soil amendment using poultry manure on the growth of improved maize seeds (SUWAN-1-SR) in diesel oil-contaminated soil was carried out at the Research farm behind the Department of Botany, site II, Delta State University, Abraka. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design with four replicates. Rates of poultry manure applied were Og, 2g, 4g, 6g, 8g, and 10g. Data collected were plant height, stem girth, number of leaves, and leaf area.
