Calotropis procera contained many biological active chemical groups including, cardenolides, steroids, tannins, glycosides, phenols, terpenoids, sugars, flavonoids, alkaloids and saponins. Several parts of this plants such as leaves, stern, latex and roots  exerted many entomological effects on a number insects pest. which includes anti-feedants, repellent, adulticidal, ovicidal and larvicidal. The present review will highlight the chemical constituents and the potential effects of Calotropis procera on insects.
