This study was carried out to determine the effect of genotype on the rectal temperature, respiratory rate, and pulse rate of locally adapted chickens in the derived savanna zone of Nigeria. A total of two hundred and eighty-eight (288) chickens were used for this study. These consisted of 96 birds each of normal feather, frizzle feather and Fulani ecotype chicken genotypes.
