Forensic Geophysics: Geophysical Techniques and Applications

Forensic geophysics can be seen as that involving the use of

geophysical methods in the search, locating and mapping of hidden or buried

features underground or underwater. Geophysical methods have the potential to

aid the search and recovery of a target because they can nondestructively and

rapidly investigate large areas where a suspect, illegal burial or, in general,

a forensic target or object is hidden in the subsurface.
