The purpose of this paper is to discuss the foreign policy of general murtala muhammed, the paper presented an introduction, identified the concept of foreign policy, Nigeria’s foreign policy, and described general murtala ramat muhammed’s foreign policy and concluded with the following statement; the making of policy demands planning. Planning, as we know, is a demonstration of faith in rational thought and organization. It draws heavily from the success of science and engineering in thinking about the future and producing solution to human, social and environmental problems.
