This work investigates conflict and conflict resolution mechanisms in Kolokuma clan, In Kolokuma clan in Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government area of Bayelsa; using some instances of conflict and how these conflicts were resolved. The work also documents the impact of these conflicts on the people of Kolokuma in Bayelsa State of Nigeria. Kolokuma clan is comprised of ten communities that have had a very close intergroup relations since the pre-colonial. The work looks at the economic, political and social issues that gave rise to the conflict and the conflict resolution mechanisms among the Kolokuma that was utilized in the peaceful resolution of conflicts in the clan.
