ABSTRACT
This study focuses on the challenges of Performance management for non-marketing staff in Nigerian banks. The primary purpose of this study is to identify the challenges facing this non-marketing staffs. The need for performance management in Nigerian banks cannot be over-emphasized because it is a traditional approach to evaluating the staff performance. Data collected were analyzed in tables with simple percentage.
One hundred and eighty (180) questionnaires were distributed to selected non marketing staffs of Nigerian banks and one hundred and sixty nine (169) was retrieved. Findings revealed that Non-marketing staff of Nigerian banks faces various challenges as a result of performance management. It then concludes that Nigerian banks should devise means of curbing these challenges so that the daily operations of the banks will not be affected.
