ADDRESSING THE TRIPLE THREAT AMONG ADOLESCENTS: NEW HIV INFECTIONS. TEENAGE PREGNANCIES, SEXUAL AND GENDER BASED VIOLENCE

Kenya committed to end AIDS as a public health threat and address all forms of Sexual and Gender Based Violence by 2030. In addition, the country is determined to address the challenge of adolescent pregnancies. SEXUALANDGENDER BASEDVIOLENCE The National AIDS Control Council (NACC) and National Council for Population and Development (NCPD) have partnered with National Government Administration Officers (NGAO)to develop and implement strategies for eliminating this Triple Threats; sexual gender-based violence, adolescent pregnancies and HIV among Adolescents and Young People.
